All Volleyball girls please return your clean jersey to Mrs. Miller or Ms. Kim

Next week, there will be a Christmas shop open for students and staff to purchase gifts from.  This will be open during lunchtime only Monday through Friday next week.  You can buy gifts for anyone and prices range from 25 cents to $19 for things.  Stop by with your money during lunchtime and check it out in classroom D-2.

This week Holiday Candy Grams will be for sale on the outside stage for 50 cents each.  Send one to a friend, staff member or even yourself!  Share the holiday spirit today!  Sales end on Friday at lunch.

Head to the ASB office to check out the 3 cool Christmas trees that you could win.  You can purchase raffle tickets for the tree give away for 50 cents each or 3 tickets for $1.  All of the money will help families in need during this holiday season.  You get to choose which tree you'd want to win.  Plus, anyone that buys tickets gets a piece of candy, too!  Don't miss out.  The winners will be chosen on Friday, 12/22 at the end of the day.

Remember, if you have earned 5 blue QVMS tickets you may turn them in at the Cougar Support Center and gain entrance to the Quail Valley game room at lunch.  In order to sign up, stop by the Cougar Support Center with 5 blue QVMS tickets before school, turn in your tickets to Ms. Linda and choose a lunch time date. ~Again, you can only sign up before school.  There’s a Nintendo Wii, Foosball, air hockey, Basketball, Skeeball, Giant Jenga, and many more games are available for you to play. ~ ~~So, save your tickets for entrance to the game room… it only costs 5 tickets!  If you received a golden ticket as a part of earning a QVMS award and haven’t signed up for your lunch time game room yet there are still times available.

Boys’ basketball tryouts schedule is:
·    6th/7th grade will be Monday and Tuesday 12/18 and 12/19 at 4:00
·    8th grade will be Wednesday 12/20 at 4:00
Academic Eligibility will be determined by the semester grade report. Any questions see Mr. Conkle.  Please make sure you see Conkle with any questions ASAP. You must have a current Sports physical on file in order to tryout.

Attention 8th graders: if you have NOT registered for the 8th grade East Coast Trip there is still time. BUT, time is running out. Did you know this is a 10day trip?! Did you know on this trip we visit places like Washington DC, Gettysburg, Boston, Philadelphia, New York City, Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Baltimore? Did you know we see a Broadway show in New York, visit monuments you've only seen in books or online, go to the top of the tallest building in the United States, and get our group's picture taken in Times' Square?!
You learn a lot too!!  If you did not receive an informational envelope, see Ms. Mankins in room H6 or Mrs. Abney in I-12. Get registered by phone, by mail, or online. Registration details are in the informational envelope; Go pick one up TODAY!!!

If you are an 8th grader already registered for the trip, and want the fundraiser scratcher cards, see Ms. Mankins in room H6. They're $5 and are perfect to take with you over the holidays. You can purchase them BEFORE or AFTER school only, not during the day.

If you need school supplies, head to the student store in the ASB office, where supplies are available for purchase.  Things range from 25 cents to 1 dollar.  Check it out before school, at lunch, or after school!

Please trim the box tops for education labels from General Mills cereal boxes, Betty Crocker and Kleenex products and many more. Put the box tops in a bag with your name on it and bring it to I-5 to receive a prize.  Thank you!

Students:  If you arrive tardy to school due to going out for breakfast, Starbucks, etc.--please remember that you may not go late/tardy into class eating your food or drinks (Starbucks included).   Food and drinks must be finished (or thrown away) before going to class.
